Clinical Psychologist & Psychotherapist

BPsych, BA, MPsych, Fellow APS College of Clinical Psychologists

Zish graduated in Clinical Psychology in 1976 from UWA and then trained as a Gestalt Therapist with the original Gestalt Institute of Perth. He was certified as a Gestalt Therapist in 1983. After graduating from university, he worked in large psychiatric clinics and hospitals for ten years before starting his own private practice in 1987. As well as his ongoing work as a psychotherapist, Zish has been an active Co-Director of Gestalt training Institute West Australia's four-year training program since 1990. Over the years, he has run Gestalt training workshops throughout Australia, in New Zealand, in the USA and throughout Europe as a Faculty Trainer with GATLA's European Summer Training Program since 1995. His professional interests have gradually moved from specific clinical issues to a broader consideration of human behaviour, especially in relation to understanding human conflict. His personal interests include regular bike riding, gardening, learning guitar and learning how to play from his dog Luigi.

Clinical Psychologist & Psychotherapist

Claudia originally trained and then worked as a Highschool Teacher in Berlin for ten years. She then completed and graduated from the four-year Berlin Gestalt Centre training program in1982 as well as graduating from GATLA Summer Program in 1987. Claudia also completed Psychology studies in Berlin before moving to Australia, where she has been registered as a Clinical Psychologist in private practice since 1989. As well as her work as a Gestalt Psychotherapist in practice, Claudia has been a Co-Director of Gestalt Training Institute West Australia since 1989. She has run training workshops throughout Australia, New Zealand, USA and Europe, joining GATLA's Summer program as a Faculty Trainer in 1998. When not working, Claudia dedicates her life to her grandchildren, her garden and to practicing Yoga, swimming and running with her dog Luigi.

Occupational Therapist & Psychotherapist

B.SC (OT), Member OTA

Ken Yeo was raised in Singapore and arrived in Perth in 1994. He is married with two young children. He graduated from Curtin University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and is a graduate of GTIWA. Since graduating Ken has worked for the Health Department of Western Australia in the area of Mental Health & Psychiatry, working with both inpatients and outpatients in community settings, as part of multidisciplinary treating teams. He led a long-term psychiatric rehabilitation program for 11 years, with a focus on experiential learning both in individual and group therapy settings. He is currently a Senior Occupational Therapist within a local public mental health service, where he runs therapy groups. Ken has also worked in private practice since 2009, working with individuals and couples, and has been a Trainer with GTIWA since 2010.


Psychologist and Psychotherapist

BPsych, Grad Dip-Ed (School psychology)

Danielle is a psychologist and graduate of GTIWA. She completed her psychology education at UWA and worked in various locations for the Department of Education before making the transition to private practice. She currently has a private practice where she sees individuals for therapy, as well as being a Board Approved Supervisor (AHPRA) providing professional supervision for psychologists, mental health care workers and other allied health professionals.
